Hayslett Group Partners with McRae Communications
on Georgia DOT Statewide 511 Campaign

Atlanta, February 2007 - Hayslett Group and McRae Communications have been chosen to develop and implement public relations and marketing communications services in connection with the launch of the statewide 511 travel information service in Georgia. The purpose of 511 is to provide a portal to real-time traffic and travel information for motorists. 511 is part of Georgia’s NaviGAtor system, which monitors traffic congestion and assists first response agencies with incident management. 511 services will be managed by GDOT’s Transportation Management Center (TMC) in Atlanta. The TMC is committed to enhancing travel safety and transportation efficiency by managing incidents, controlling traffic and providing accurate information to the traveling public.
