Hayslett Group Director of Creative Services
Named Volunteer of the Year

ATLANTA, January 2007 - Cochran Mill Nature Center, (CMNC), a non-profit facility that offers environmental education programs through hands-on discovery, recently named Michelle Clark as its Volunteer of the Year for 2006.

Since 2003, Clark has developed collateral materials for CMNC and has supported the overall marketing strategy of the organization through her design work. Clark is the director of creative services for Hayslett Group, an independent public relations firm.

In order to update its image and become more competitive against other area nature centers, Cochran Mill and Hayslett Group modernized the look of CMNC's collateral and marketing materials, including t-shirts, brochures, booklets, and direct mail. The marketing campaign targets new donors, school districts, volunteers and consumers, and helped the Center increase awareness of its programs and service offerings.

"Michelle's creative abilities and talents have added great value to the Center's marketing efforts," said Maribeth Wansley, executive director of the Cochran Mill Nature Center. "CMNC relies heavily on the hard work of volunteers throughout our organization and we greatly appreciate Michelle's contributions over the past four years."
